Release delayed (good news)


Hi! 


As you may know or not know, windlight was supposed to launch yesterday on August 8th, a week after the alphas launch and about 11 days after development began. This release date, however has been pushed because of a few reasons. First, coincidentally, the week that I had to work and polish the game was filled with events I had to attend and I did not have as much time to work on the game. Second, the game desperately needed a rewrite to fix issues in the architecture that made it impossible (or excruciatingly hard) to add new content to the game.


But thirdly, and most importantly, the game's scope increased massively! It went from a little game I said I wouldn't give myself more than 3 days to complete to a roguelike featuring lots of enemies, bosses, generated levels and so much more. This is good news. I cannot give a release date as of now, but I'm working hard day and night in my spare time to push the game out. It's honestly a lot of fun and if you're reading this, I hope you'll stick with me and try it out when it comes out.


Other than that, going forward I will also take better care of the github repo and make sure it's up to date and has a clear commit history, unlike the absolute mess it is right now.
